The REACH Lab hosted the Modern Figures Podcast Hosts, Drs. Jeremy Waisome and Kyla McMullen, in collaboration with CEED and the Black Cultural Center at Virginia Tech.

April 16, 2026 - CHI 2026 Presentation in Barcelona, Spain
This was my first presentation of my first paper and publication to CHI! I presented in the Religion, Spirituality, and Design session with HCI researchers exploring the intersection of technology and spirituality.

March 26, 2026 - 42nd Annual GPSS Research Symposium & Exposition 
I won second place for my research presentation on my CHI paper, "Understanding Digital Religion in the Lives of Black Christian Young Adults," at the GPSS Symposium. I received the Impact Award and $200.
